I was inspired to write a post like this after reading Amber's "12 things". There are times when I lack creatively on what to write about, but this post is so simple and love the entire concept of it!
These are my "7 things":
- I am currently preparing for my Baby Fiesta (Mexican theme baby shower). It has been so fun that it has me feeling nostalgic for my birth country and I so badly want to return and visit. One day!
- I have been working on a few projects with some amazing companies (pregnancy and non-pregnancy related) and am excited to push myself even more creatively to get this content out! I cannot share much about them but stay on the look out these next few weeks to be introduced to incredible businesses and some discount codes!
- My mom and I have been working hard around the house. A lot of declutter has been going on so we are thinking of putting up a yard sale this week. She also bought paint and will be purchasing new furniture soon so our home will be getting a make-over! It makes me happy to see my mom happy. Her home means everything to her plus it has not had any major changes since we moved in 10 years ago so IT IS TIME!
- I bought my hospital bag! I found a super cute hot pink and white striped duffle bag for a decent price! I have my list written of what will be packed for baby boy and I. It still will not be for a little while though. I know women who do not pack until literally last minute but what if I deliver early? I just like being prepared! The idea of it is making everything feel so REAL.
- I visited a friend who just recently gave birth. I held her baby as she was sharing the birth-story and could not help but get emotional! I blame the hormones. I am just so impressed and amazed with what our bodies can do. This will be me in a short few months and not going to lie, I am freaking out. I do not know if I am ready for this but promise to do my best.
- The Bachelor finale is having its two night finale and I cannot believe how obsessed I am with that show. I am ashamed, but it is so entertaining. Anyone else watching it?! Leave a comment below and let me know your thoughts! Every season they say it will be the most dramatic finale ever and this one truly is. I do not know how I will spend my Monday nights now that it is ending.
- I have decided to do a series of "photo tips" here on the blog. I will be releasing a post at the end of this week where I will take you behind-the-scenes and share tips all on indoor photo-taking. So if you are into that sort of thing, stay tuned!
So there you have it. 7 random things from my life as of lately. I will try to do this more often!
