I chose the Parula sling because the color is beautiful and it is perfect for the warm weather. I can also use it in the future if I have a baby girl since it is a unisex color. Or can we just wear our babies in whatever color no matter their gender? I am starting not to care what is "socially acceptable" and just go with what I love!
Since I have no baby to wear (yet), I have been using my sling as a back support and it also adds pressure on my occasional Braxton Hicks contractions. Any ladies out there find adding pressure to relief pain helpful? I so did this when I used to get period cramps! It is also nice that I get to adjust the tightness of the sling around my waist so it can give me the right amount of comfort.
