7 THINGS — APRIL

Monday, April 9, 2018

Above and below are some photos taken within these last few weeks. This bump is growing by the minute and I am happy to be capturing as much as I am because it is better to have too many pictures than not at all.

Just a few days ago I walked by a window and gasped so loud because I could not believe how big it is getting. How does my little guy have room?! I am guessing he weighs more than 4lbs now and is also slowly making his way down ...there... because I can feel the PRESSURE! You can also definitely tell by my waddle walk 🤣.

Before you get to what this post is actually about, I want to express my gratitude in regards to the BABY NAME REVEAL post. I received A LOT of positive feedback and truly, it means so much to me! I definitely plan on creating more videos. I think they are just as special as pictures!

Last month I made a 7 THINGS post where I shared 7 random things that has been going on in my life. I am making this a monthly thing (if I do not forget lol) because it is such a simple, yet fun way to give life updates! Here it goes...

7 things:

  1. I have began to feel impatient with my pregnancy. All I think about and wish for is Asher to be born already. Once you have 10 weeks and less left, the real countdown is on and it can be complete torture. I keep telling myself that I can do it. I can hang in there for just a little longer!
  2. I am keeping myself busy with baby projects! Last week I learned how to sew and made Asher a swaddle blanket! I bought the fabric for $2.80 and sewed the edges. What I could have purchased for $18.00 to $34.00+ at a store or even a small shop, I made under $5.00. WIN! You bet I went back and bought more fabric to create more blankets. It is so addicting!
  3. Aside from the swaddle blanket making, I got two beautiful illustration prints that I hung up next to the crib. I will take a picture of that area once it is completed and make sure to share it on my INSTAGRAM and in a blog post. I am just impatiently waiting on a few crib/nursery related things to get shipped to me then I will share! EEEP 😄!
  4. Hospital and diaper bags are packed! I know, I am ahead of myself but I could not help it. I have this fear that I may go in to pre-term labor or deliver earlier than expected. Not saying it is my mom instict telling me this, I am just saying anything can happen so better to be prepared than not. I will make a haul video on what I packed from both bags and share it in a blog post. Most likely will be done by next month so stay tuned!
  5. I believe I will begin to see my doctor every 2 weeks starting this week and I am so excited (and nervous)! As each day goes by, it is only hitting me more and more that this baby coming out of me will be HAPPENING. I will be a MOM and in charge of a human for the next 18 years 😱! My friend actually sent me this message: "Piece of advice; get your rest the next few weeks. Because the next 18 years you won't get it." LOL! I am sure I will have hard days, but I know it will all be OK. I was made for this and Asher is completely worth it.
  6. This past weekend I went out of town for my cousins' bridal shower. She is getting married two days after my due date. I PRAY that I will be able to attend her wedding somehow. It was really nice to escape and spend time with loved ones. I also love the area they live in; filled with pine trees and open fields. The air is much fresher and you can come across animals such as Does' with their Fawns (not even kidding 😍!) and rabbits on your daily walks. I am so jealous. I have decided I want to settle down some place similar to there. One day.
  7. Well I cannot think of the 7th random thing so I will end this here 🤗.

Thank you all so much for reading. Until next time, friends!

Much love,
