BLANKSPACE

This past Saturday, I attended my first ever Instagram workshop at BlankSpace. I don't want to give out all that I learned because I really want to encourage you all to attend the workshop because it is so uplifting and educational if you ever have considered starting a business and using Instagram (or Facebook) to help promote and run it. Plus, they have many more workshops that you could benefit from, not just this one!

The purpose of BlankSpace is to "provide a hub of creativity and culture, with the obvious goal of offering some gorgeous spaces where people can just have a really good time". Which I think is absolutely GENIUS! Any one of us in the Tri-Cities area can contact this business and rent the space for anything you would like to use it for! A birthday party, special events, you name it! And not to mention... it has a juice bar. Aside from what you can use the place for, the space is unbelievably gorgeous. There's a huge window in one room which brings so much natural light in, they have a corner section with some sitting arrangements which has me inspired to decorate and design my future home with the same vibes, and the objects they have laying around are simply to die for. Go check it out for yourselves, it really is breathtaking!

If you're a part of the social media world, Facebook and Instagram to be exact, you may know that  they are platforms that have helped make dreamers' visions come true. You can come across so many businesses from a watercolor + handwriting shop, to a clothing shop that donates some of it's profit to amazing organizations. It's incredible what businesses you may find when you spend some time searching them up. I'm always so amazed at what people set their hearts and minds to and how SUCCESSFUL they become. I always try to support anyone and everyone that I can because we can't do it all on our own. I actually have been motivated to begin something for myself! I have been brainstorming these past few days to see what I can put out with the talents I hold and who I can reach out to that can help me get this started. I'm not necessarily sure what it's going to be just yet, but I'm so inspired to get this started.

If there's anything I have learned from this experience is I could be completely lost in this world with no current plan or purpose, but with hard work and dedication, I can make something out of my dreams.
