LEAVENWORTH, WA

The drive to Leavenworth. I passed this tiny spot where snow had fallen. It went from green forest - to snow - to green forest again. Made me so excited for it to snow where I live!!!

The park that has an amazing view of the mountains.

Not even jealous of those mountains. Pffft.

A bit heartbroken because I wasn't able to ride the carriage. Hashtag Poor Problems.

This was my third third time visiting Leavenworth and it is so amazing each time even though I end up doing the same thing each time I go.

If you know me, you know that I'd choose to drive between pine trees than desert any day. That's how the drive is to get there. I'm just in awe looking out the window the whole way there. And during this time of the year, we put on Christmas music and the feeling I get in my chest is indescribable. We took my mom and little nephew this time because I mainly wanted to take my mom to the Christmas store. And boy, did she love it! She did not want to leave, ha ha! :)

If you live in Washington, it's a must to go to Leavenworth at least ONCE in your life.
Here are some tips and some places you definitely should visit.
  1. The Park: It's just down the hill from downtown. What is there to do there? Walk around! Enjoy the beauty of the mountains! Mingle with your loved ones! You decide.
  2. The Shops: If you're there for a couple of days or even for the day, then you have plenty of time to visit every store. Leavenworth is a small town so it's nice to know that you won't be overwhelmed with not being able to check out everything. You will! Try not to bring A LOT of money because you will be tempted to buy EVERYTHING. My favorite stores are Kris Kringl and the Boutiques. :)
  3. The Restaurants: Eat at Idlewild Pizza. So, so delicious! But also check out the other restaurants that are near the shops because they're good, too.
Thanks for reading! Have a good week, friends!
